  • Experience prospecting, networking and/​or new business development
  • A self-starter with initiative with strong customer/​client orientation; ability to facilitate discussions to resolve issues, obtain consensus and drive to conclusion
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field and/or equivalent experience in the insurance industry
  • Current State of Indiana Accident & Health, Life license required (must be obtained; company will cover)
  • Ability to earn client trust along with excellent relationship management skills
  • Motivated and goal-oriented with the hunger to become a Partner/Shareholder
  • Coachable and competitive spirit
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Passion for making a difference in the community
  • Proficient knowledge of benefit design and set-up, administration, and regulations related to ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ACA helpful, yet trainable
  • Current or future professional designation preferred; appropriate designations include Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Group Benefits Associate (GBA), Retirement Plans Associate (RPA), or Tax Exempt & Governmental Plan Consultant (TGPC)
