Do You Have What It Takes?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business-related field and/or equivalent experience in the insurance industry
- Current insurance Indiana license or ability to obtain immediately required
- Proficient knowledge of benefit design and set-up, administration, and regulations related to ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ACA
- Must have experience with applicable legal reporting
- Professional designation preferred; appropriate designations include Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Group Benefits Associate (GBA), Retirement Plans Associate (RPA), or Tax Exempt & Governmental Plan Consultant (TGPC)
- A self-starter with initiative and strong customer/ client orientation; ability to facilitate discussions to resolve issues, obtain consensus and drive to conclusion
- Motivated and goal-oriented
- A professional presence and demeanor
- A dedication to customer service
- Ability to travel in or out-of-state
- Experience prospecting, networking and/ or new business development
